Would you be upset for being deported? If you had a choice to pick where to live what would be your strongest choice?
Of course i would be upset if I was deported I prefer to live with my family than live lonely in a other state or country. I would choose the United States. Even if they are so harsh in the United States there is better living and you will always have a work even if you work in the farm you will get money. And even one day you could be rich.
Panchitos is "Stepping Out." Defend this statement.
What it means about Panchito stepping out is that he is being more out going with his friends and people. He wants to do more fun stuff, like getting out of his confer zone.
How have you "Stepped Out?"
Once in 6th grade i got more out going with my friends so i was getting out of my confer zone. But for that reason my grades were going down. So I still was outgoing but i concentrate in my assignments.
Do you think religion/spirituality helps or hurts people in poverty?
I think religion helps people on poverty because they well have hope to have money and not be in poverty and/or have a job and they will be happy.
Put yourself in the shoes of a farmworker youth. Imagine working 14 hours in harsh conditions. What would be the hardest thing about this life for you?
Working in the sun wouldn't bother me that much it will bother me that i don't have time to go to school because of working in the fields depressed of not having education and then ending up to college a higher quality job and that i could enjoy.
One of the farmworkers kids says," after all the work is over, nobody remembers the people. Or the children who worked. The farmworkers is forgotten." Do you agree with this statement? Do these videos change the way you think about fruits and vegetables? Explain.
I totally agree with the statement because... well it is true. And after watching all these videos and reading examples i should tell my family to eat all our fruits and vegetables and not letting them to rotten that then they will end up into the trash.
Panchito's family sticks together, they help each other through poverty, and there is a high level of respect. Do you think Panchito did the right choice? Defend you answer.
Thats what family have to do so he did do the right choice. They do this because poverty is horrible. Poverty will make them starve of hunger and don't have any education. But they got stronger as the family grew, everybody has a job even the ones who were young. And Panchito did a right choice of also going to college and starting a new life of he has a family to not be in poverty.
For technical difficulties I wasn't able to upload my racism video. But I will be glad to write a short paragraph about it.......
My racism video was about a young boy that once had a chance to sing in American got talent and he went through the finals.... so yea. Then one day he was invited to a NBA basketball game to sing the National Anthem. After he was introduced and sang the National Anthem, everything went will, they even applaud to him. But the worst part was that many people in the internet were races to him. An example was a comment of a guy who putted on the video was, " How are you singing the national anthem looking like an illegal immigrant?" Many people found about it and was not happy about it. Even sebestain the boys name found out and didn't care. He said he was happy of who he is and always well.
